Description
The High-Risk Balcony Behaviour Dataset is a collection of images and short clips to train models on identifying and analyzing unsafe or high-risk behaviours on balconies. The dataset captures a variety of actions, contexts, and environmental conditions, providing a diverse resource for research in human behaviour analysis, safety monitoring, and risk assessment.
It contains:
- 69 images (55 of risk behaviour, 14 of non-risk behaviour).
- 114 short clips (65 of risk behaviour, 49 of non-risk behaviour, average duration 12 seconds/clip).
Annotations
Both images and clips have been manually classified as depicting either risky behaviour or non-risky behaviour according to the following criteria:
- Risk: Any observable behavior that creates a potential safety hazard on a balcony. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Placing one or both feet above the balcony railing.
- Sitting, leaning, or resting the torso on the railing.
- Any other action that could lead to loss of balance or falling from the balcony.
- No Risk: Any behavior on the balcony that does not involve a potential hazard or compromise the individual’s safety, such as standing, walking, or sitting away from the railing.
